Founded in 1988, Yangzhou Chengde Steel Pipe (YC) has been growing to a leading large diameter seamless pipe manufacturer with production range 8‘’-48‘’ in OD and wall thickness from 9.53 mm up to 140mm. YC is a joint venture with American PCC Group (Precision Castparts Corp., Fortune 500 enterprise of USA, majorly in Aerospace and Power industries). YC’s tubular products cover Middle/Down-stream, Coal power generation, Nuclear power, Mechanical， shipyard and Gas cylinder applications. YC is the approved vendor of well-known EPC companies and oil companies such as Exxon/Shell/Alstom/Fluor/Bechtel/Siemen/SNC Lavalin/Kiewit/Keppel/Petrobras.

YC produces all kinds of pipes, such as boiler headers, main steam / reheater pipes for power, K55~Q125 casing & tubing, X42~X80 line pipes for oil industries and A514Q, A517Q Ultra-high strength mechanical pipes for platform/ shipyard industries, especially the most sophisticated grades like P92, P91, X80 and Cylinder pipes. The rolling mill is designed and equipped with start-of-art facilities to possess special strength on non-nominal sizes and material tailor made for your unique project design, flexible on small quantity and various sizes in one order.

YC 、SMC and WG (SMC and WG are the subordinates of PCC group )succeeded the development of Ni-based seamless pipe, and expected selling 8000 tons per year. Yangzhou Chengde brand joint WG brand is the first comprehensive brand of the world.

Yangzhou Chengde is improving form three aspects: 1 Improving the dimensional accuracy: design three-rolls Ø920 cold rolling machine(invest 100 million with own intellectual property rights) and research three rolls – three frame longitudinal reeling machine (designing and will invest 100 million); 2 Improving heat treatment accuracy, remodel existing heat treatment furnace and built 6 new heat treatment furnace which conform to the AMS2750 specification (invest 50 million with PCC technical guidance).3 Enlarge the group interval to 48”(Ø1219.2mm) and can produce main stream line according to the technical of AP1000

At the moment, YC and PCC joint together to research: Ni-base alloy of high corrosion resistance, ultra -supercritical boiler pipe at 700℃ high temperature.
